I was at the grocery store with my 4-year-old daughter, Elizabeth, when we heard an announcement over the PA saying, "Elizabeth, please report to the bread section." I continued walking through the aisle, but my daughter looked at me and said, "Mommy, we're not obeying God. He wants me in the bread section!"

Lettuce Pray Mommy!


One day I asked my 3-year-old, Joshua, if I was a good mommy. I was expecting a resounding yes, but he surprised me when he said, "Mommy, no." I asked how I could be a better mom and he replied, "Give more happy feelings, pray to God, and make sandwiches with lettuce." I've been doing all three!
